La belle province de Québec!

After spending three weeks in the beautiful province of Québec, it's hard to believe we're already done with the Canadian part of our road trip!  Merci à Guy et Claire de nous avoir reçus à Shawinigan et Mont Tremblant!

We were lucky to see so many of Guillaume's family members from both sides of his family.  Above photo: a big supper with his mom's family.  Nous nous sommes bien amusés, Normand and Guylaine...merci beaucoup de nous avoir reçus!  (et merci pour la photo, Normand...tu es un bon photographe!)

We enjoyed a week at Guy and Claire's chalet in Mont Tremblant.  Although the weather was pretty gloomy, we had some nice breaks from the rain.
It also gave us lots of time to rest and relax!

One day, we were even lucky enough to take a 17 km hike for nine hours in the national park at Mont Tremblant!
Our guides - Guillaume's uncle, Rémi, and his friend, Gaétan - sure gave us a run for our money!  C'était toute une randonnée!  Merci Rémi!

We even made some new friends along the way!

And, the fall foliage was beautiful (even if most of it was on the ground already).

On our way out of Québec, we stayed with friends near Montreal.  Thanks for having us, Max and Jenn!

Stay tuned for our next blog about New York!  We had a fantastic time....can't wait to share pictures!
