Discover.” – Mark TwainTaking a bit of Mark Twain's advice, Guillaume and I have decided to enter a new chapter in our lives titled "Jobless and homeless...and loving it!" As of mid-September, we will both be unemployed, our belongings will be in storage, and our possessions for the next year will be in two backpacks. Fulfilling a lifelong dream, we'll be setting off for one year of traveling around the world.
Our adventures will take us to many places: sea-kayaking off the coast of Newfoundland, road-tripping through Canada and the US, relaxing on the beaches of Bali, visiting family in Malaysia, volunteering at an orphanage in Cambodia, hiking the Annapurna Mountain Circuit in Nepal, sightseeing in India, hitching through Southern Africa, wining and dining with great friends in Italy, and more!
In an effort to keep everyone updated on our year of travel, we'll be keeping a blog as we go along our way. Stay tuned for our adventure to begin....!
